Winnipeg Free Press's Miss Lonelyhearts shows advice columnists how to handle Asexual relationships

Miss Lonelyhearts, an advice columnist for the Winnipeg Free Press, did not accuse an Asexual reader of trying to trap a partner in a relationship. A Slog columnist operated under a different assumption in a column that ran in early February. The column offers a refreshing change of pace from the way relationship advice columnists have traditionally handled such relationships.

“You're lucky to have found someone who is OK with your situation. Since this column is anonymous could you please write back and tell us what situation you worked out that works for both of you? Asexual people are often so isolated they don't hear about variations in loving lifestyles that could work for them, too,” the advice columnist writes.
