Do Asexuals Masturbate and answers to other questions that should not be asked

On the rare times that human Asexuality comes up in conversation, there is one question that will get asked. “Do Asexuals masturbate”? The person asking this question often thinks they have a clincher card to prove that Asexuality doesn't exist. Rather than cite the studies that prove Asexuals do masturbate at the same frequency as everyone else, there is a different issue to be addressed.

The issue is one of appropriate behavior. The person who asks this needs to ask if they would ask anyone else the same question under different circumstances. If they come up with the answer that the answer to this question is none of their business, they can rest assured that they have found the right answer.

Asexual men and women do masturbate. Not being attracted to anyone does not mean a person does not have a sex drive. Some Asexuals do not engage in self-gratification and they are no more or less Asexual than those who do. The orientation is about lack of attraction. If a person does not seek out sex with a partner, it's a good clue that the person is Asexual, particularly if this has been a life-long pattern.

Yes No What do asexuals fantasize about when they do masterbate? Nothing and they just get off on the sensation?
