Demiromantic Asexuals

Demiromantic Asexuals have been saved for last in this series because the concept of Demisexuality and Demiromanticism are harder to grasp than the concept of Asexuality for many people. A demisexual is someone who does not experience sexual attraction until the individual knows a potential partner. Demisexuals run the gamut of human sexual attraction. They can be gay, straight, lesbian, bisexual or pansexual. They cannot, for obvious reasons be Asexual. If they only experience romantic attraction, those individuals are Demiromantic.

The most common criticism of this label is that romantic attraction often develop over time. The same holds true for Demisexuals regarding sexual attraction.
