Asexual dating is best described as a complicated matter. Acebook is the site with the largest number of users, but romantic Asexuals cannot draw on a large dating pool. Asexualitic, of the three sites previously available offered the greatest range of features to provide a match. Asexual Match, a new competitor in the Asexual dating market, offers similar features to those found on Asexualitic.
Asexual Match's own statistics show that it has 137 members at the time of writing, 71 male members and 66 female members. The site's features mimic Asexualitic and many other dating sites on the Internet.
Asexual dating sites do address a need within the Asexual community, particularly the people looking for life partners. The recent issue with Dan Savage highlighted the issue that long-term relationships work best when both partners share a similar level of sexual desire. Romantic relationships, even for Asexuals, are tricky to navigate and require patience, compromise and understanding on both sides. Despite the columnist's assertion, many Asexuals are not going out and looking to trap Sexual people into celibate relationships. Even if this were common among the Asexual community, the small percentage of Asexuals among the general population would make it unlikely.
Although some people have not had encouraging experiences with Asexual dating sites, other forums have provided places for Asexuals to meet in real life. If readers have experiences with these sites, share them in the comments section below.

You have a post announcing the existence of a website AND DON'T HAVE A LINK TO IT??? I know that you tend to be really bad about not linking to things, but seriously? Seriously????
