Meghan's Life is a very popular channel on youtube that attracts a more than respectable viewership. The episode released on April 15 Meghan answers the question of her own possible Asexuality. There are many other topics discussed that would be of interest to Asexuals including Polyamory, a Gay-Straight alliance and being Genderqueer.
Meghan is very creative and used this creativity to make an exam book, which is essentially a legal “cheat sheet” that she can use during finals. She appears to be studying the human brain as the adrenal cortex is mentioned.
On Polyamory Meghan feels she could never be part of it and that she would be rather just be with one guy as opposed to a more complex relationship involving something other than the traditional male/female pairing. She had even asked her therapist if polyamory was a form of evolution and the answer was that it is only for certain individuals.
It was also touched on that the Transgendered are coming out much earlier these days with the statistic being as early as 7 or 8. Meghan also describes parents supporting gender exploration as a positive thing.
She has been asked more than once if she is Asexual and did not know what that meant so she checked out the definition on wikipedia. The definitions there are lack of sexual attraction to others and lack of interest in sex. By these definitions Meghan decides she is not Asexual. This all starts at the 13:24 mark for those who do not have time to watch the entire video.
She goes on to say she thinks about sex and men although her own genitals do not fit who she is. She also thinks about physical intimacy, snuggling and kisses. Relationships and dating do not take priority over her studies.
