Asexual Men Are Weak?

Hank Campbell, a Science 2.0 blogger recently reported on a study that found women prefer arrogant men. People who are concerned with gender stereotypes and the ways in which they are perpetuated will find the story interesting. Asexuals, partricularly male Asexuals, may have one problem with one statement in the article.
“Being a man is out if that means not being a politically correct, hyper-sensitive, Asexual, homogenized follower of all that is cool and popular among the cultural intelligentsia,” reads a sentence in the first paragraph.
It is unclear exactly what Campbell means in this context. Perhaps he is referring to Metrosexuals, although the reader must guess what he means. It is clear from the context that he is not referring to people who do not experience sexual attraction.
It also seems that he has not chosen any usage of the word Asexual that corresponds to any definition in the English language. Asexual men may not be common, and it may be possible that they are statistically weaker than Heterosexual men. Social scientists have not decided to do any research on how strength relates to the sexual orientation of an individual.
Campbell may or may not have been aware of the existence of Asexuality as a sexual orientation. The excuse holds less validity now than it did before. Asexual is also not a movement popular with the cultural intelligentsia. If this does become a stereotype, it may become a nice excuse to get Asexual men out of lifting heavy objects.

Then again I am asexual maybe its just all the silly sexual woman that get all hot and bothered by the jerks...I dunno it might be interesting for them to do a study on what kind of mates us romantic (well I am more of a gray romantic) prefer...
As for asexual men being "weak" I am sure that there are some that are and some that aren't just as their are among sexual men...Just like there are some really effiminate gay guys and then you have some that are athletes...seeing as we are such a small percent of the population its really hard to get an accurate picture of that...I wish there was more research on asexuality but its starting to become more well known so I am sure there will be shortly!
