Will Baba Dez Let an Asexual Become a Sex Shaman?

Baba Dez Nichols operates the International School for the Temple Arts. Nichols, who is in his 50s, claims to b a sexual healer. He appeared on National Geographic's August 26 Taboo. Neither Baba Dez nor his followers expressed an opinion about Asexuals during the program. The "sex shaman" believes in reclaiming an individual's sexual power.

He claims to practice tantric sex. Neither he nor his organization have been targeted by the Arizona State police, but similar organizations have found themselves facing raids for prostitution.

Baba Dez may simply like sex. He did not deny this claim, but he claims to be a healer in addtion to liking intercourse. The ISTA head believes that he is helping people reclaim the power people took from them. The site does not quite explain how Dez became a sexual healer. The ISTA website advertises conferences and people buy their books. Its website claims Dez has studied from masters around the world for 30 years. Dez's bio does not say which masters he has studied under.

Dez's "ministry" seems suspicious, but the Taboo program featured only happy clients.
