Sexless in the city tells the story of five people. Many of the people are celibate, although one identifies as Asexual. The Asexual segment is relatively short. The title, Sexless in the City, leaves much to be desired.
The stories could belong to many people, including some Asexuals. Celibacy, however, does not actually describe a person's orientation and never has. It simply describes the activities a person chooses not to engage in.

October 11 is national coming out day. Although this site’s readers know that its owner and many members of its staff members are Asexual, they understand that not everyone is open about their sexuality as people are here. People who are looking for advice about how they should come out should look elsewhere. Asexuals should know that they are more likely to encounter disbelief.

Many people have asked what we can learn from Asexuality over the years, and the most important thing that can be learned is that some people just are not that interested in the oldest dance. Other people have read far more into it. One Christian blogger recently took notice of this strange group to ask what the existence of Asexuals means to people of faith.
Because Asexual people have been around as long as their Straight and Gay counterparts, the question is not as meaningful as the blogger thought. Her argument that sexual orientation is a social convention has been disproven many times. A number of websites take issue with her assumption that Asexuality is the same thing as celibacy.

Still No Answers About Whether Being Single is a Sin

Is it a sin to be single? Few people would say that it is, but the answers often depend on the religion of the person who is asked this question. A series of videos posted on 4thought.tv's website attempted to answer this question, but none of the commentators gave a definitive answer.
More people are focused on the same sex marriage debate. Other people raise moral objections to the idea of Homosexuality. People who object to Asexuality quote the line "go forth and multiply". This line is only stated to one Biblical couple and it is not repeated.

How Tumblr-style Social Justice is Like Pornography

Tumblr and AVEN compete to become the largest Asexual community on the Internet. AVEN has a real-world presence. Tumblr has a large user base. Many Tumblr users who participate in Asexual discussions also belong to the microblogging platform’s social justice community. A conflict between AVEN’s research coordinator and a Tumblr blogger resulted in Andrew Hinderliter being removed as a writer for the Asexual Agenda group blog earlier this month. The actions that led up to the removal occurred behind the scenes. It sparked a larger debate about the place of Tumblr-style social justice within the Asexual community.
“I am very much not sold on the idea of Tumblr-style social justice. I feel that puts me in the majority of the Asexual community,” wrote Hinderliter on the Asexual Explorations blog. He commented that many people who engage in the style of activism believe that only members of an oppressed group should comment on issues faced by that group.
