The idea that Asexuals as a whole are anti-sex persists, despite the claims of many Aces to the contrary. Asexuals are absolutely okay with people having sex, it's just not a sport many of us choose to participate in. As poorly thought-out notions go, it is an idea that is just as ridiculous as the idea that homosexuals are opposed to heterosexual sex and are trying to convert people to their way of life. Neither Homosexuals nor Asexuals want to see anyone cease heterosexual activity. Without heterosexual sexual activity none of us would be here. What a person is attracted to, if anything, does not indicate their attitudes towards intercourse in general.
