The Adventure of the Empty House to Be First Series 3 Sherlock Episode

Benedict Cumberbatch and Stephen Moffat may not consider their version of Sherlock to be Asexual, but that will not stop legions of fans who view Holmes’s lack of interest in either sex as cannon. Fans of the series may have to wait for nearly two years before Sherlock Series 3 gets filmed, but fans to not have to wait for the title of the next episode.

Moffat and Gatiss’s next episode will be an adaptation of The Adventure of the Empty House. Holmes faked his own death at the end of Series 2. The Reichenbach Fall was an adaptation of Doyle’s story, “The Final Problem”.

Fans will get to see how Holmes survived the fall in the modern adaptation of the story in which Doyle attempted to kill off his most famous creation. Fans of the detective have been grateful that the author decided to bring the consulting detective back to life.
