Sherlock Wins Best Mini-series Category At Critic's Choice Awards

Benedict Cumberbatch may never solve the mystery of why he is popular with women. It is no mystery that the show he is best known for won a Critic's Choice Award. Moffat and Gatiss's modern-day adaptation of the Sherlock Holmes stories won the best mini-series award.

British performers did well at the American award ceremony, but the American shows were not forgotten, even if the show in question had few Asexual characters. AMC's Mad Men walked away with several awards.

Homeland, which stars Damian Lewis, won best drama at the same show, according to the Independent. Lewis was born in the United Kingdom. The Critics' Choice Award announced Sherlock's nomination several weeks ago.
