Hollywood Sherlockians will debate BBC Sherlockians to determine which version of the character contributes more to the Holmes' legacy

An event sponsored by MX publishing will attempt to settle whether Guy Richie or Steven Moffat adds more to the legacy of Sherlock Holmes. The company is sponsoring a debate over which version of the character adds more to the Holmes legacy.
The debate will bring together film maker Guy Ritchie with the makers of the BBC series Sherlock. The producers of the series and the movies will meet in a live televised debate on November 10th of this year, according to Prweb.com.
The debate panels feature teams of experts on the works of Arthur Conan Doyle and historians. The debate will take place live. Audience members will be able to gather in over 90 places around the world. BBC's Sherlock Facebook page, lists some of the audience locations.
The debate has split into two camps. One camp believes Richie's character is a more accurate description. The other camp believe's Moffat's modern Sherlock more accurately represents the character.
