Lara Pulver to Play Irene Adler on Sherlock

Sherlock fans may or may not watch the show for the attractiveness of the character. The mystery genre occasionally has had attractive actors show up throughout the episodes, but it has never been absolutely necessary for these shows to rely on sex to gain ratings. People do not tune into the show to engage parts of their body that are found far above their waste. There may be female fans of Sherlock who find the male leads attractive, but many sites are cheering over a new addition to the cast. Lara Pulver will play Irene Adler.

Fox's Cartoon Allen Gregory May Have an Asexual Character, But The Show Needs Radical Surgery to Become Watchable

Fox would be better off with reruns of this showFox's Allen Gregory does seem to have one possibly Asexual character. The one father trapped in the relationship takes no interest in his boyfriend. He also, so far, has shown no interest in women. He's one of the few characters on the show that people can actually relate to. Unfortunately, the overbearing personalities of his unwanted partner and his step son take center stage in this cartoon that has been labeled, perhaps tragically, as a comedy.

The Doctor Will Not Meet Aslan This Christmas, but He Will Come Close

Doctor Who has access to all of time and space. Even though he has access to all of time and space, it seems that every place he goes to looks suspiciously like Wales. The final Doctor Who episode of season six will not contain any place that does not look like Wales. It instead may contain a few characters that look like they come from another beloved British icon.

It is another British icon and famous author who became popular with Americans, particularly with American Christians. The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe will air shortly before Christmas. The episode will be a homage to C.S. Lewis's the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
