Sheldon and Charlie Brown have a lot in common. They have an innocent way of looking at the world. Charlie Brown may not be a genius. Sheldon Cooper does not have a faithful dog, but the two characters hare more in common than an individual might believe. They share a common fashion sense. The clothes Charlie Brown wears seem to fit well on Sheldon and vice versa. They also scored high ratings on Thanksgiving. The apartment mates won the ratings game.

The producers of the Big Bang Theory have moved Sheldon one step closer to a relationship with Amy. The Asexual and Pansexual dynamic of the pair may be something that few people have noticed, but it also seems that Sheldon is looking for someone whose intelligence matches his. Doctor Cooper may not understand the nuances of sexual intimacy, but he has displayed jealousy in the past. He's recently warned Leonard that Amy is not for him.
The author did not watch the most recent episode of the Big Bang Theory when it aired this Thursday. She had to watch it on Hulu instead. This has delayed the commentary, but Sheldon did do something interesting. He presented Amy with a contract that presented the rules of the proposed relationship. The rules preclude either party from mentioning the relationship in public.

Leonard Nimoy is Mister Spock. Darren McGavin was Carl Kolchak. Matt Smith is the Doctor. At least Matt Smith is the doctor for fans of the shows' reboot. Older fans may argue that Tom Baker is the doctor. Few Doctor Who fans, at least few of the Doctor Who fans who read this site, have a large desire to see Matt Smith in any state of undress. Those who do will have to track down a BBC promotional video.

Harry Potter Director David Yates Plans Doctor Who Movie

The director of the Harry Potter movies no longer has too work with any of the Harry Potter movies. He has said he wants to move on to smaller projects for the time being. The director, who worked with the creations of British author J.K. Rowling has decided that he will continue his directing career, but the next project he announced does not seem to be small. The director of the Harry Potter movies wants to create a new feature length film starring Doctor Who.
Two hour long episodes of Doctor Who are not unheard of. The BBC has produced many such episodes over the programs' 48 year history, but the network often does them with a much smaller budget than a full length Hollywood production. The show, which has a large following across the world can garner a much larger budget than most British science fiction films.
