John Barrowman does not plan on reprising his role in Torchwood in the near future, but the pansexual character did say that he would not mind playing the twelfth doctor. Barrowman, whose Jack Harkness character started out on Doctor Who, has been known for being one of the first characters on television to engage in intimate relations with a member of the same sex. Harkness's character's sexuality is the opposite of the character of the Asexual time lord.
However, Harkness was not so much concerned about his ability to play the role, according to the Press Association. He thought it might be time for the twelfth incarnation of the Time Lord to be a woman. He even added that he would put on a dress and play the female time lord if the show's producers could not find anyone else to fulfill the role.

CBS has found that BBC had a hit with its series Sherlock. The American television network may decide to attempt to cash in on the success of the BBC series. The network plans to make its own version of a modern day Sherlock. The CBS's series is not the first attempt at a modern day Sherlock, nor even it is a unique attempt. Steven Moffat created the most recent and most successfully modern incarnation of the characters, according to Crave Online.
American television shows sometimes are adapted to a British audience and British shows are adapted to an American audience but it usually causes something to be lost in the process. Few shows that go through this transformation succeed, although it has worked well for The Office and Top Gear. Fans of the series on different sides of the ocean usually prefer the original series with their characters, quirks and charms rather than to see someone else take them on.

Marriage equality occurred in MMORPGs long before it reached some corners of the real world. Video gamers have been excited or dismayed that characters will be able to marry anyone in the game. The Elder Scrolls series has long been noted for its open nature and Skyrim just expands the options in the romance department. Star Wars: The Old Republic is only letting characters pursue opposite sex romances.
Game masters let users set up their own weddings in the past. If the player wanted to marry another charater, a guide or game master would officiate over the ceremony. The tradition has been the same in many games. There is seldom an official in-game way for characters to marry, although this did occur in the multi-user dimensions that proceeded mmorpgs.
