Filming of Sherlock interrupted by London riots

Fans of the Sherlock series may notice that there is a brief interruption in the show's second season or they may not. The London riots interrupted the filming of the popular BBC series for a few days. Filming resumed after the violence died down, according to the What Culture website.
The riots were sparked by rumors that the London police had shot someone execution style. Rioters spread news of the report, which was not backed up by an official investigation. The cast of the show abandoned the filming set as rioters came close to the studio where the show was being filmed. The Sherlock show's Twitter feet revealed the details of the entire incident.

Members of the Asexual Gamer's Network have started an Asexual guild in the Lord of the Rings Online mmorpg. LGBT guilds have existed in World of Warcraft and many LGBT-themed characters occur in superhero games such as City of Heroes and Champions Online, but no one in either of these games created a guild or a super group for Aces.
BBC America to air 3 Best of Doctor Who specials to kick off new season

American fans of Doctor Who will get a chance to see the remaining episodes of the new season starting on August 27th. BBC America has decided to increase the excitement of the fans by airing a three part special on the long-running British Science fiction series. The shows will feature many American and British celebrities commenting on the Doctor and his adventures. Mark Sheppard is the only one of the celebrity commentators who has appeared as a member of Doctor Who's cast.
The series will contain a Best of the Doctor show, a Best of the Monsters show and a final show, Best of the Companions. Screenrant.com has posted a clip from the Best of the Monsters showing. Each of the three specials will contain clips from both the old and the new series.

Rumors about Bert and Ernie's sexuality have floated around for years. The two muppets have appeared in many pieces of slash fiction on the Internet. The producers of Sesame Street have wisely ignored these stories for years. The producer recently announced the Muppets have no sexual orientation.
Matt Smith wants to see reunion of living doctors for 50th anniversary of Doctor Who

Doctor Who's 50th anniversary occurs in 2013, according to Monsters and Critics. Current doctor Matt Smith would like to gather all of the living doctors together to one reunion episode. Though Smith does not control the story of the popular BBC series featuring the last member of a time traveling race.
