Michael Jackson Glee Episode Recap

Glee season 3 episode 11 aired on 1/31/12 and it was a perfectly acceptable homage to and celebration of the life of Michael Jackson. The episode is simply titled Michael and features nine of the King of Pop's works ranging through the entirety of his career as promised.

The episode's plot involves the fictitious William McKinley High School hosting “Michael Week” and the New Direction singers feuding with the Warblers, a rival glee club from a Dalton Private school, over the right to perform Michael Jackson songs at regionals.

Glee's Michael Jackson episode opened with Wanna Be Startin' Something. Cast members wore many different Jackson outfits. and the singing and choreography were well done. No doubt that it would be, this is Glee after all. Also before this song Mercedes had a great quote in reference to seeing Immortal, a Cirque Du Soleil touring group. “I don't want to see the spectacle that is Michael, I want to be the spectacle," said Mercedes.
