Anonymous hacks Westboro Baptist Church website during live interview

A member of Anonymous hacked into a WestBoro Baptist Church website. The recently hacked website exposed the network of the church and contained information about other activities of the group.

“We had thought this latest release would be enough to make you realize that we have no interest in going to war with you. Anonymous is hard at work with ongoing operations such as those involving Bahrain, Libya and Iran, not to mention we are tirelessly working to maintain coverage of all of our HBGary leaks for the public to enjoy.”

(Video is included in the full text).
The response claims the site was seized under Internet Rule #14 and invites the group to go away. The Anonymous hactivist criticized the poorly written letter. A spokesperson for the group (Anonymous) hacked the group (WBC), while host David Pakham interviewed Anonymous and Shirley Phelps-Roper while on the air, according to the Huffington Post and the Democratic Underground.

Anonymous’s spokesperson mentions that he is working on something around the 7 minute mark, when the item linked to here appeared on the site. Westboro Baptist Church is known for its controversial anti-gay rhetoric. Public response against the group became increasingly negative when members of the church decided to picket funerals of American service members who had fallen in combat.
