A Member of Worley's Congregation Defends Her Pastor

Americans may have trouble keeping track of the number of pastors who have made anti-Gay rants. A surprising number came out of southern states. Pastor Worley, the leader of a congregation of 12,000 members came out and said Homosexuals should be put behind an electric fence until they all die out.

The comment sparked debate, but one member of the congregation attempted to defend the pastor's statements on Anderson Cooper. She stumbles over the fact that Gay children are born to straight people all the time and ignores the comparisons Cooper made to the Holocaust, choosing only to focus on her belief that Homosexuality is wrong.

Although she believes that Pastor Worley would never actually do such a thing, her ineffective attempts to defend the pastor's inflammatory remarks do not give an outsider a more favorable impression of her or the church that she attends.
