One Million Moms Asked retailer JC Penney to fire Ellen DeGeneres as their spokesperson. The organization asked JC Penney to remain neutral. The neutral policy, which mirrors the language used in an a controversial Anoka-Hennepin school district policy does not extend to heterosexual couples. One Million Moms accused JC Penney of jumping on the pro-gay bandwagon in a press release.

A female to male transgender man gave birth. The Metro, a UK newspaper, did not give the name of the man. The potential father contacted the Beaumont Society. He gave birth to a child early in 2011.
The Beaumont Society is a charity group that puts respondents in touch with other information groups. The gentleman made the request and the society referred him to the Gender Identity Research and Education society.
9th Circuit Overturns Proposition 8

The 9th Circuit federal district court struck down California's Proposition 8. Proposition 8 banned same-sex marriage in California, and was backed by the Roman Catholic Church and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 9th Circuit judges overturned the proposition in a two to one ruling earlier today.

Tbe Super Bowl came and went. Even though it provides a great excuse to throw a party and gives people a chance to say goodbye to the Football season, the events of the game can almost never be dscribed as historic by anyone other than sports fans, the results of the poll may or may not be interesting. It is no surprise to anyone who is not a football fan.

Family Research Council: Star Wars The Old Republic Has Gone to the Dark Side

Gamers reacted to the same-sex romance options with non-player characters with apathy. Gay rights activists responded to the announcement with joy. The Family Research Council, perhaps not following months-old news, recently criticized Bioware for including the same gender romance options in their new MMO.
“In a galaxy not so far far away, Star Wars gamers have already gone to the dark side. The new video game, Star Wars: The Old Republic, has added a special feature: Gay relationships”, said Tony Perkins, head of the Family Research Council.
