Asexual Issues Usually Not On GLAAD's Radar

Matt Kane, the Associate Director of Entertainment Media at the Gay and Lesbian Alliance for Defamation, said that Asexual issues are not usually on GLAAD's radar.

Kane's tone uses the same caution Asexuals use when describing the intersection between Asexual and LGBT issues, but he did express concern over how the show treated Asexuals. The Associate Director of Entertainment media asked for materials to send to the writers and producers of  House, M.D.

Kane wrote:

One writer did come forward and posted a response to the Asexual community on AVEN's message boards. (Part of her response is found in the comments section of this article). Spolier.tv posted a video of the author discussing the writing process for the episode. The Asexual Awareness Week committee and AVEN issued a press release condemning the episode a few days after it aired. A Change.org petition, which AAW intends to send to the producers gathered over 1,000 signatures.

Yes No Honestly, I completely understand why Ace issues aren't addressed by glaad. It's not really a priority nor issue for them.
