Asexuality Interest Group To Meet at NWSA 2012

The National Womens' Studies Association agreed to form an Asexuality Interest Group. Karli June Cerankowski submitted the request to form the group to the NWSA. The Asexuality Interest group has been given its own conference room for the NWSA 2012 conference.

Regina M. Wright issued a call for Asexuality papers for the conference in January. NWSA's website will add Asexuality to the keywords for submissions next year. The first Asexuality was presented at the NWSA 2011.  Megan Milks, Karli JuneCerankowski, Ianna Hawkins Owen and Eunjung Kim formed the panel.  Sonny Nordmarken  served on the panel as a non-presenting moderator.  Wright  proposed the idea of an Asexuality Interest group that looks at asexual issues through a feminist lens.
