Wipe Out Homophobia Website Added Asexuality Page

Wipeout Homobphobia, a website with an easily grasped purpose, recently included a page on Asexuality. The page follows the definitions set forth by David Jay and the Asexual Visibility and Education Network Wiki.

The page is part of a larger LGBT site. Language on the page makes it clear that sex and orgasms are not necessary in order for a person to have a healthy life. Members of the Asexual community know this is true in a broad sense, although problems with the systems related to arousal may also signal more important physiological problems.

A similar effort was launched on Facebook to eliminate anti-Gay statements and sentiments expressed on the popular social networking service.
