Bare Ink -- New Play to Feature Asexual Character

An amateur playwright recently started a kickstarter campaign Bar Ink. It features an Asexual tattoo artist who develops an unusual relationship with a client. The author of the play describes tattooing as an intimate and erotic art form.

Playwrights have decided to cut out the middle-man, and let their plays be produced directly. The trend works in a manner similar to the self-publishing trend among book authors. The author hopes to raise over $7,000 through his kickstarter campaign.

If Bare Ink's Kickstarter campaign raises enough money, the play will appear at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
