(A)sexual film stalled in final stages

(A)sexual, a new documentary about the Asexual movement is in the editing stages. The proposed film, which has already faced one funding crisis may not make it beyond the cutting floor if it does not receive more funding.

Last year, Tucker raised $11,000 for the project by starting a kick start campaign. The campaign also served as a marketing tool, said Tucker in an interview conducted over Skype earlier today. A person can find an earlier version of the film's trailer on Youtube. A more up-to-date version will appears on the Arts Engine website in a few days.

The picture shown on the site still calls the film Asexuality: the Making of a Movement. Several prominent Asexual leaders, including David Jay founder of AVEN, appear throughout the video. If someone wants to donate to the film to bring it to completion, s/he can donate directly on the Arts Engine website.
