Asexual Awareness Week dates announced: October 23 -29

The Asexual Awareness Week committee formed in early February. Sara Beth Brooks announced the creation on Youtube, Asexual News, AVEN and other Asexual interest sites. The initial announcement left many things about the event undecided. The organizers wanted to create the event as they went along.

A Youtube video posted this week announced the dates. Asexual Awareness Week 2011 will take place on October 23 and continue until October 29. Members of the committee have not yet decided on the date and there are no events yet planned.

The Asexual Awareness Week will post updates about their plans through the upcoming months.
