California woman opens website for people who cannot have or do not want sexual relationships

Laura Brashier started a dating site for people who do not want sex in a relationship, but she has not set out to create an Asexual Dating site. According to WLS 890 in Chicago, the 50 year old woman started the site several years after recovering from Stage 4 cervical cancer. While she still desired companionship, the treatments completely eliminated her sex life.
Her new site, 2date4love, welcomes other cancer survivors, people whose medical treatments have affected their intimate life and people who are simply not interested in having sex in their relationships. The last demographic may make it join the ranks of Asexual Dating sites.
Brashier, a hair stylist from California, opened 2date4love on August 1st. She received 2,000 visitors on the first day of the site of operation. Asexual Dating sites, the most successful of which is Acebook, have not received the same level of traffic.
While it seems that Brashier may not have started a dating site for the Asexual community, she has managed to create a resource that many romantic Asexuals, particularly older romantic Asexuals can use to find a suitable partner.
