A journalist, who identified herself as Emily, made a request through the AVEN project team. The reporter is looking for Gray Asexuals from the United Kingdom and Ireland. Although there is no upper age limit, people who wish to participate should be over eighteen.

Correction: Sara Beth Brooks wrote, "That's not really true -- the intention is to allow communities and andcampuses to schedule their own this year, so some of them may fall inthe 2012 calendar year. There won't be "one" AAW this year though, no."
Asexual Awareness Week, which is normally an annual event, will not be held in 2012. The event will take place in 2013. Vlad made the announcement on the A Life podcast. The change should allow members of the committee to form.
A call for the 2013 committee should be made in the fall. Changing the time from the Fall to the Spring allows the committee to synchronize the university schedules of the United States and Great Britain more easily.

UK Undergraduate Student Seeks Romantic Asexuals To Help With Study

Petger Carolan, an undergraduate student in the United Kingdom, has asked for help from Romantic Asexuals to conduct a study on relationships. Carolan is looking for Asexuals who are over 18 who are in romantic or other close relationships. Caolan is willing to conduct the inverviews in person, over the phone, or Skype.

(A)sexual Coming to Youtube, iPad

Aces who missed the debut of Asexual and its creenings at many film festivals will soon be able to download it onto their iPad and watch it on Youtube. The popular video streaming service Netflix will also make the movie available to subscribers.
Filmbuff announced Arts Engine's decision to place the movie on Youtube and iPad earlier this week. Asexual Awareness Week's Facebook page contained a link to the video. Asexual follows David Jay and the founding of AVEN, Swankivy, Sara Beth Brooks, and Cathy Roberts. The documentary is a little over an hour long.
