Angela Tucker’s documentary (A)sexual may not be on Netflix yet, but educators can order the film through Arts Engine. The public must wait until June to purchase the documentary. Arts Engine announced that the documentary will be available on Amazon.com.

Good Mourning Publishing Seeks Asexual Romance Story Submissions

Romantic Asexuals who have an artistic bent have a chance to share their original fiction. The phrases Asexual and Romance are not normally associated with each other, despite the attempts of Heteromonatics, Homoromantics, Biromantics and other people to educate others about the possibility of Aces falling in love and dating.

AroPlane Offers Virtual Gathering Place for Aromantics

Aromantics do not currently dominate discussions involving Asexuality. Romantic Asexuals do not always realize this, but the Aromantics have responded by creating their own spaces. Although AVEN and other sites try to accommodate everyone who falls on the Asexuality spectrum, certain groups tend to dominate the discussions after a while. A new forum called AroPlane attempts to meet the community needs for Aromantics.

Trevor Project Adds Asexual Resources to Its Training Materials

April 13, 2012 -- Asexual Awareness Week announced today that the
Trevor Project is beginning to include materials about Asexuality and
Asexual issues when training Trevor Project staff and volunteers. The
Trevor Project offers 24 hours 7 days a week telephone counseling
services to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and questioning youth
who are struggling with crisis and thoughts of suicide. The staff and
volunteers who provide advice and support to those in crisis will now
have access to and training on Ace positive information.
