Take Time Out to Honor Those Who Gave Their Lives for Their Country This Memorial Day

Memorial Day, a U.S. holiday, is a day to remember all the people who have fallen defending freedom and liberty. It especially honors those who have given their lives in service to the country. A lot of LGBT blogs have used the day to mark the status of LGBT service members as well, but Asexual News will not do something similar. There are active Asexuals serving in the military, and there always have been.

Instead, readers are urged to take a moment of silence and remember those who have fallen at some point during the day. The few seconds could be at the barbecue, at the beach or by the pool. Readers who are not located in the United States may want to take time out to honor those who gave their lives for their countries.

Asexual News wishes its readers a Happy and Safe Memorial Day.
