Last Week's Lack of Content Explained

Readers may have noticed a lack of content on the site last week. There were reasons for this gap. Asexual News staff members announced the reasons on Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr but forgot to announce it on the site itself. This may have caused confusion among people who do not follow the Twitter, Tumblr or Facebook feeds for this site. The reason for the break was that Lara Landis wanted to take some time off, and did so.

There did not seem to be enough reason to announce a vacation of any staff member. There are, however, changes that will be made to the site. The average reader should not notice these for the most part.

First, there will be fewer articles per day. This has to do with real life schedules and is unavoidable at the moment. This means that the articles on the site should be more relevant to the reader, however.

Second, there is a planned upgrade to the Joomla system. This usually causes a few minor hiccups when it happens. The administrators do not expect the upgrade to cause any major problems.
