Asexual News offers publicly accessible Events calendar

Asexual News added a calendar so that people can post and keep track of Asexual events. The calendar is currently open to the public, but it is moderated by the Administrators. Inappropriate events will be removed from the calendar.

The calendar is an experiment. Its purpose is to fill the same role that events sections do in local newspapers. The staff cannot always keep track of events that may merit a story on the site. The calendar will let people publish and promote their own events even if the Asexual News staff does not have a chance to cover them.
