Site Upgrades Planned for First Week in January

Asexual News will be making a few upgrades at the beginning of 2012. The upgrades should fix several problems the site has had and fix security vulnerabilities. It should also restore the site to a newer version of Joomla.

This process will take place the second Sunday in January of the New Year. There should be few problems with the site, but the update process might make a small amount of downtime necessary. The upgrades may cause a few problems with the videos and the commenting feature. The staff does not anticipate too many problems with the website.
