Asexual News has experienced chaotic conditions for the past few months. Lara has been busy with other work and one of the editors quit. With all of the changes, it is now down to a one person operation. This is not as bad as it may seem. Most of the stories on this site have been written by one person for over a year now.

Asexual News did not plan to take nearly a month off in April. Lara's netbook was on the fritz, and her desktop PC, which was nearly twelve years old, made writing pieces difficult. Her tablet, while speedy, did not provide the ideal environment for writing. She resolved this problem with a purchase of a new computer.
The staff apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Asexual News asked its readers if they could come up with a better poll. The question came about because Lara has been busy covering some local issues and has not had as much time to devote to Asexual News as she would like.

Asexual News asked its readers what would happen if gay marriage became legal. Of course, in certain countries it is already legal and nothing has happened. The readers believed the following items might occur. Although a zombie apocalypse took an early lead, a more sensible view eventually won out. Here are the results:

The Most Exciting Thing to Happen in the Previous Week

Asexual News asked its readers about the most exciting thing to happen in the previous week. An actual meteorite impact turned out to be the most exciting thing that happened this week. There was also something that occurred on the 14th, but none of our readers seemed to know the name of the event.
The poll results were:
- A near miss with an asteroid – 62%
- The site anniversary (and its owners birthday. They happen to be on the same day.) – 15%
- The mid-season premier of the Walking Dead – 15%
- Fastnacht Day (Marid Gras for many other people) – 8%
