Asexual News completed its server transfer yesterday. The transfer caused us to lose a day’s worth of data, including an article that announced the server transfer. These articles cannot be recovered easily. The important articles will be rewritten and posted again. This should be the only problem from the upgrade that most users should notice.

Because this was a poll of vital social importance to the Asexual community, it received more votes than some of the more recent polls. Those who want to know which type of cake Asexuals prefer can look through the following results.

- Cheese Cake – 23%
- I prefer pie – 17%
- Red Velvet – 9%
- Vanilla – 8%
- Angel Food – 5%

Asexual News’s most recent poll asked users if they have needed or knew an Asexual who has needed the services of a suicide hotline. The poll was inspired by responses to news that the Trevor Project was adding Asexuality to its training materials.
The poll yielded the following results:
- Yes – 55%
- No -32%
- Prefer Not To Answer – 14%
Although the poll had few voters, it shows that there is a need for a suicide hotline that can help Asexuals specifically.This is not a scientific poll. A new poll will be up tomorrow.

Asexual News asked users if AVEN should have an aromantic forum. The poll was placed on the site nearly two weeks after AVEN’s administrators and moderators made a decision that few people understand and seems to have been made with faulty logic. The results of the poll, which will run through the end of the day are as follows.
Should AVEN have an Aromantic Forum?
- Yes – 85%
- No – 13%
- AVEN should get rid of the Romantic Forums – 2%
